About Me

What started out as a personal health journey, became a lifelong practice. After graduating college with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology, I was at the lowest, unhealthiest point in my life. Knee and shoulder injuries, along with traumatic brain injuries from repetitive concussions, left me a shell of myself. I was supposed to be a collegiate athlete, yet I suffered from chronic migraines, insomnia, memory loss, and cognitive challenges. It took daily, deliberate, and mindful practice to achieve overall health and wellness; nutrition, sleep, movement, and meditation all played vital roles in that process.

I’ve spent over 20 years in the health and wellness industry as an athlete, and over 10 years as a coach. It is my privilege to empower and educate individuals to become the best versions of themselves.

The Functional Health Space is a platform for all who are committed to improving their health.
